RELEGATION DOG FIGHT
This Sunday is the last day of the Premiership and with the top places almost all decided the focus and the action centres on the bottom end of the league. What a scrap with 2 out of the 5 teams fighting for their lives to stay up. Who will stay up and who will go down? Have your say!
My prediction is - going down Blackpool, Wigan and West Ham (already down)
Chris,
My husband now goes to the Breeze Bar in Benimar as they have a live game on 6/7 screens and you can take your pick as well as keeping an eye on the rest of the games! We have been to several sports bars and the choice is yours. Just another suggestion is the Coopers Arms in Dona Pepa, which again has many screens plus a lovely outside area.
Hi Chris,
I would agree with the last comments by js! We are off to the Breeze Bar to watch our team and the atmosphere is always nice, no trouble and the owners always offer some free food to everyone. Hope to see you there Chris!
What an end to the football season with the positions changing several times during the 90 minutes, but finally it was settled with Birmingham and Blackpool following the already relegated West Ham. I got one wrong with my prediction, not too bad. Well done to the teams that stayed up Wolves, Wigan and Blackburn.
Hi All, Thank you for your suggestions! We eventually went to the Coopers Arms to watch Survival Sunday with a number of friends. A full house and a great afternoon of football. We felt sad for Blackpool as they have played some woderful stuff this season. My team Man City did very well as we pipped Arsenal for 3rd spot. The trouble now we have no football to look forward to until August, what are we going to do on our Sundays? Chris
LOCAL WEATHER
Hope you are enjoying this lovely warm sunshine and clear skies with forecast temperatures between 26C - 28C degrees until Wednesday. Thursday and Friday may be slightly cooler and overcast with a slight chance of rain at the end of the week.
more questions???
Hi, we have decided to move to La Marina, we were looking at Almoradi or Albatera, but I have a 13 year old daughter and I think its best to move to an area that has more English people to start with?? well anyway could anyone tell me about the schools in the area, are they within the urbanisation or far away??? I dont drive so would this be a problem? Think thats all for now, I am having yet another sleepless night with everything going through my head.
There would be no problem getting your daughter to school from La Marina as each morning we see several school buses go past our office. The main schools are about 2 miles away in San Fulgencio. Will you be buying or renting when you come over?? People who do not speak Spanish prefer this area as there is a good mix of English speaking people.
hi Ian,
Thanks for getting back to me. We will be renting to start, just to see if we like it.
I did look to moving to a Spanish village at first (which I would prefer eventually), but because of our lack of Spanish at the moment and one of my daughters ages I though it would be best to move to a place that has more English people to start. Do you know if the buses are school buses? because my other daughter is only 5 I dont realy want to put her on a school bus on her own.
WHY QUESADA NEEDS YOU TO VOTE PP
Four years ago we asked for your trust, the new health centre the security cameras the repairs and maintenance carried out are all testament to how the PP of Rojales fulfill their promises. This year we are asking you to once again place your trust in us. we will incorporate more european residents into the town hall, we will continue to keep the finances of Rojales on an even keel and we will encourage the integration of all of our citizens in every way. Other parties may be making outrageous promises they have no intention of keeping, in our programme we only promise what we know we can deliver. with Antonio Martinez Canovas as Mayor we have a tireless worker at the service of all of the citizens of Rojales.
BE A GOOD NEIGHBOUR
VOTE PP
Well from what I have heard you have my vote. I think that you have done a great job and hope you will for the next 4 years.
Can you tell me if your party has any involvement or intention to back the campaign to change the schooling hours in this area to be the same of those in the rest of the valencian region? Further information can be found on the link below x

Dining out in Benijofar
Tonight we are trying a restaurant in Benijofar called Fratelli´s!Offering Homemade Italian cuisine, which has been recommended by a friend of ours. We will let you know our feedback. Any one else tried this restaurant?
The meal last night was fantastic and the atmosphere was excellent. Every table was taken so would suggest booking a place before you go. We had the 4 course menu de la noche. The four of us had a variety of different choices but I had sardines to start with, for the main I had fusilli pasta with panchetta in a tomato based sauce, dessert was a lovely homemade almond cake and we finished this with a coffee at the end. Plus we had at least 3 drinks each all for a fantastic price of 57 euros. The 4 courses are 12.50 per person. Great and very enjoyable evening. We recommend Fratelli´s to anyone who enjoys good Italian food at a reasonable price.
Hello,
Can you tell me what days they are open and where is the restaurant exactly. Oh and do you have a tel number. Much appreciated!
Hi js,
I believe they are opened on Monday - Saturday from 6.00pm - 11.00pm and their phone number is 966713645.
Let us know what you think! Thanks
Day at the Beach
What another beautiful day in Almoradi today! We are going to the beach today at Guadamar. The beach at Guadamar is so clean and tidy and you always find a nice spot to relax. We tend to bring a picnic and plenty of fresh water. A word of warning you do need to be careful in the sea and watch the flags for warnings as there are some strong currents which can be dangerous

Where is the best place to watch these games live? Thank you Chris
